It is important to inference because it might help you in certain situations.
We started off by inferencing about a specific thing. We realize that as readers we can also inference by picking out the important clues that can help us.
This is what we used to help us formulate our inferences. We remembered that evidence has to be provided in order to support our inference.
Our task was to infer about the certain person (character) that wore each shirt using our schema and evidence from the actual shirt to helps us out.
