In the CMC checking out nonfiction texts so we can learn more about their features. This way we can eventually create an informational writing piece and inquire into including certain facts found from the nonfictions texts we have checked out. This can only be done however purposefully when we understand all the features of the text and are able to find relevant information to add in our information writing piece.
